Shutter Speed

Shutter speed can change photos by freezing an image in time or making it look like it's still moving. Shutter speed is the amount of time the shutter is open or closed to capture the light. A fast shutter speed is great for taking sport or action pictures because it takes a moving object and makes it look like it's staying still but if you use a slower shutter speed you need to have a tri-pod and it can make the picture look like its still moving.
